We do a number of activities that involve local community and other groups. Examples from the past, and planned in the future, include face painting, acting workshops, childrens theatre, drama sessions, stage fight workshops, stage technical workshops,...etc.
If you can assist in anyway with our events then please do get in touch. If you can not help directly but would like to support these activities then please do consider making a donation, as even though we all give our time for free we still have to cover the costs of the building, electricity, materials used etc.

The Maskers Theatre is located in Shirley in Southampton, where we pride ourselves as being part of that local community as well as serving audiences from a much wider area. Where possible we support and are involved in local activities, and plan to have more events that the local community can become involved in.
The company runs by the devotion and commitment of its members and we are always pleased to welcome new members in whatever capacity. You don’t have to act! There are opportunities to be involved backstage, front of house, technically (lighting, sound and set building), in marketing, and in the many other activities involved in producing quality theatre. We also have a lively social calendar. If you wish to join us please see our Join Us page.
