The old Salisbury Playhouse organised a fund raising coarse acting festival in 1975. We took part and the local heats happened at the Bassett in the summer.
We performed an a "version" of Hamlet and won!
We then went on to Salisbury playhouse one Sunday evening to take part in the regional finals just before the playhouse closed at the end of the year.
