What we are doing to keep you and our building as Covid safe as we can:

  • We have enhanced regular cleaning of the building.
  • We are disinfecting surfaces that are touched regularly each time the building is used.
  • We have provided hand sanitiser stations in the foyer, bar, and studio.
  • We have installed a large extractor fan to increase the air circulation in the studio.
  • We improve ventilation by leaving several windows and doors open during any use of the building, including performances.  Please be aware, however, that some of the doors are fire doors and, due to fire safety regulations, cannot be propped open.
  • We use a disinfecting fogging machine to sanitise the auditorium seating, toilets, and bar areas after each performance.
  • We operate ozone generating machines each night in the early hours to help sanitise the air in the building.
  • We only operate using E-tickets.
  • We now take, and strongly encourage, contactless payment.
  • We may use forehead temperature checking on arrival.
  • All our staff and actors are encouraged to use Lateral Flow testing regularly.
  • No-one with any Covid symptoms is permitted in the building.
  • Our staff will continue to wear face coverings.
  • NHS Track and Trace QR codes are available for you to check in when at the venue.

What we ask of you to help keep everyone as safe as possible:

  • We encourage prior online booking where at all possible please. We ask you please to ensure that your details (telephone number and email address) are recorded on the contact details page. The telephone number is to inform you should we need to cancel due to Covid in the cast and to enable a Track and Trace procedure to take place if required.
  • If you or anyone you have been in contact with starts displaying COVID symptoms, we ask that you please stay away from the theatre, to protect the safety of everyone. Even if you already have tickets booked. In this case, tickets can be fully refunded. This also applies if you have been asked to self-isolate.
  • Please use hand sanitiser on arrival at the theatre and during your visit.
  • Please use the NHS Test and Trace QR codes on arrival if you have a suitable phone and app.
  • We strongly request that face coverings are worn at all times, except when drinking in the bar, for the safety of our staff and other customers. Please be kind to our staff and those around you.
  • We ask you to keep movement around the theatre to a minimum.
  • We encourage you to pre-order you interval drinks, to assist our bar staff and reduce crowding at the bar.
  • If we are required to cancel a performance due to sickness in the cast, or by any COVID-19 government guidance or restrictions, tickets may be exchanged or refunds will be given.
  • Please inform us if you have a positive PCR test withing 5 days of attending our venue.

Please note that our Covid-secure measures apply to all visitors, regardless of vaccination status.
