IN ROOM FIVE HUNDRED AND FOUR

by Jimmi Chinn

Directed by Sheana Carrington

It is 1944, a hotel room in Skegness, where Harry and Edie are on their honeymoon. The play presents us with the memories of the now older Edie, allowing us to travel across time, reflecting the uncertainties of life during the forties.

This production was originally presented as part of a Directors’ course in 1993.

SHOWBIZ GOES TO WAR

Directed by Philippa Taylor

This is the Maskers’ affectionate tribute, in music and prose to the stars, songs and shows of the 1940’s. There are topical readings and poems, plus the chance to join in with favourite wartime songs.
