OLD TIMES
by Harold Pinter
Performed in The Maskers Bassett Studio In 1979.
Our last production at the Bassett is the product of one of the major talents working in the theatre today. “Old Times” shows us a man and his wife and their mysterious visitor. A trio with an obsessive, even destructive, concern for the past. Set at night in a converted farmhouse in Autumn, the play reveals the uncertainties of memory and results in a masterpiece of quiet humour and tension.
